Cultivate students with both theoretical and practical capabilities of electronic engineering professionals, so that students can achieve the goal of applying what they have learned, promoting the upgrading of the technology industry and meeting the needs of the society.
The two main areas of teaching and research are "1. Chip and System" and "2. Microelectronics and Optoelectronic Engineering".
The course content includes a series of courses on fundamentals, theory, practice and application, both basic and practical, breadth and depth, to meet the learning needs of students at different levels, so that "learning and application" tend to be integrated.
Students are encouraged to participate in national and international competitions, and teachers are rewarded for their research and publications and for their efforts to organize national seminars.
We will continue to strengthen the cooperation and technical services with the industrial sector by recruiting outstanding faculty to enhance the faculty qualifications and respond to the national trend of technological development and the needs of industrial technology upgrading.

In the future, we will also actively cooperate with the Center for Precision Instruments, the Center for Smart Energy Innovation and Industry, and the Center for Smart Living and Automation Industry to conduct key research on cross-departmental (institute) technology integration.
The department has 5,629.6 square meters of space available for faculty and students, and each research room and laboratory is equipped with its own professional equipment and open space. The laboratories are available for faculty and student discussions and research, and the discussion rooms and research rooms are available for teaching research and displaying the results of various studies. There are eight special topic discussion rooms and conference rooms, and two large lecture halls for faculty teaching and faculty-student discussions. There are 17 research laboratories for students to conduct research and experiments in various fields. Each common laboratory has posters showing the topics and experimental objectives of each required course, providing students with an understanding of the direction and methods of learning.
